Structural Engineer

Haigh Workman are looking for a versatile Structural Engineer to join our structural department in Kerikeri with the potential for growth within this position to lead and manage the structural engineering team.  If you enjoy working on a diverse range of projects with a particular interest in structural engineering design, detailing and construction monitoring, this could be for you.

To fit this role you will need a minimum of 5 years New Zealand or comparable Commonwealth experience with an Engineering degree that will be recognised by IPENZ New Zealand. A CPEng qualification would be an advantage, although support will be offered if registration is undertaken and completed.

Applicants for this position should be a New Zealand resident or have a valid New Zealand work permit, although assistance to achieve this status could be provided along with relocation expenses.

 You would need to be able to:

• Place a high value on providing excellent customer service

• Be professional and have a strong work ethic

• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude

• Work in an office environment but be physically fit for site investigation work

• Have good computer skills including MS Office Suite

• Have excellent report writing skills

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER OR ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST

Haigh Workman Ltd are looking for a versatile Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join their team. If you enjoy working on a diverse range of projects with a particular interest in Geotechnical engineering, this could be for you.

To fit this role you will need around 10 years New Zealand or comparable Commonwealth experience with a degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology that will be recognised by IPENZ.

Applicants for this position should be a New Zealand resident, or have a valid New Zealand work permit, although assistance to achieve this status could be provided, along with relocation expenses.
